Vagus Nerve Stimulator Medical Device Prototype

Our studio was commissioned by APAT Consulting to create 3D renderings and an animation to illustrate the assembly of a vagus nerve stimulator concept. Vagus nerve stimulation is designed to help prevent epileptic seizures by sending regular pulses of electrical energy to the brain, similar to a pacemaker. This tiny medical device, which is less than 1/4 inch long, is implanted along the vagus nerve. We were able to work seamlessly with information provided by APAT from their 3D CAD design software, SolidWorks, to produce the visualization.
